Damon Morey Attorney Flannery to Speak at NYSBA Estate Litigation CLE and Local Seminar on Long Term Care
Buffalo, NY, May 23, 2011 - - - - - On Wednesday, June 1st, Jennifer G. Flannery, an Associate in Damon Morey’s Trust and Estate Department, will be a speaker at the New York State Bar Association’s Estate Litigation Continuing Legal Education (CLE) program. This full day course being held at the Holiday Inn Amherst, will discuss and highlight both hands-on litigation strategies and approaches, and the often unique Surrogate’s Court rules governing litigation, in probate and accounting contests and in miscellaneous proceedings.
In addition, Ms. Flannery will be speaking at a seminar on Long Term Care for the local Eighth District Dental Society, sponsored by Walsh Duffield’s Jacob Hauck Agency. The event will take place on Thursday, June 23rd beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the District’s main offices at 3831 Harlem Road in Buffalo. Ms. Flannery will speak on the topic of Advanced Directives.
Ms. Flannery’s practice at Damon Morey LLP involves trusts and estate planning and administration with a focus on trust and estate litigation. She received her B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton and went on to receive her J.D. degree, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, in the Trust and Estates and Business Law Section; American Bar Association; and Bar Association of Erie County. She is also an adjunct professor at Hilbert College in its Legal Studies Department. Additionally, Ms. Flannery recently received the Empire State Counsel designation in recognition of pro bono service.
