Damon & Morey LLP is pleased to announce that Kara M. Addelman, Roland R. Georger and Taylor M. Miranda have joined the firm as associates.
Kara M. Addelman is an Associate in the firm’s General Litigation Department. Ms. Addelman received her B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2004. Ms. Addelman went on to earn her J.D. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School in 2008. While attending law school, she studied comparative international law in Australia and New Zealand, and was a Note & Comment Editor for the Buffalo Law Review.
She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Bar Association of Erie County and the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York. In addition, she is a member of the Buffalo Law School Alumni Association and is longtime supporter of the Massachusetts Avenue Project.
Roland R. Georger is an Associate in the firm’s Real Estate Department. He is a member of the Zoning and Land Use Practice Group and the Environmental Law Practice Group. His practice includes residential and commercial real estate transactions, as well as representing developers and builders in land use, zoning, and environmental matters.
Mr. Georger received his B. A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2002. He went on to receive his J.D. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School in 2008. Mr. Georger is an active member of the State University of New York Law School Alumni Association and a member of the New York State Bar Association.
Prior to entering the law, Mr. Georger was a senior title abstractor specializing in commercial real estate.
Taylor M. Miranda is an Associate in the firm’s Business Litigation and Insolvency Department. Ms. Miranda received her B.S. degree, magna cum laude, in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2004. She went on to earn her J.D. and M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2008. While attending school, Ms. Miranda was employed by National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation as both an intern in the Rates and Regulatory Affairs Department and a law clerk.
Ms. Miranda has been a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, a national business honor society, since 2003. She is also a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Bar Association of Erie County and the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York.
