08/2005 Damon & Morey LLP Names Two New Attorneys
BUFFALO, N.Y. – Damon & Morey LLP is pleased to announce that Christopher D. Ahlers and Colleen K.
Mattrey have joined the firm.
Christopher
D. Ahlers is an Associate in both the Business and Corporate and
Labor and Employment Departments. He has substantial experience in
federal and state environmental laws and regulations, in the context
of environmental auditing, due diligence investigations, remediation,
and environmental litigation. He has also represented numerous clients
in connection with the filing of immigration petitions and with the
litigation of matters in Immigration Court.
Mr. Ahlers received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government, Phi
Beta Kappa, from Cornell University in 1990. He received his Juris
Doctor degree from Boston College Law School in 1993.
Colleen
K. Mattrey is an Associate in the firm’s General Litigation
Department. She concentrates her practice on general liability,
municipal liability and medical malpractice defense.
Ms. Mattrey received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, magna
cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1998.
She received her Juris Doctor degree from the State University of New
York at Buffalo School of Law in 2004.
She is the Coach/Attorney Advisor for the Clarence High School Mock
Trial Team, who finished fourth overall in Erie County during the 2005
season. She is also an Assistant Coach for the University at Buffalo
School of Law Mock Trial Team.
Prior to entering the law, Ms. Mattrey was a social worker with Family
and Children’s Services of Niagara.
