Advisory Board

Steven I. Rubinstein has been named to Dopkins & Company’s
2007 Advisory Board.
In his role as Board Member, he will help the firm’s leadership assess
Dopkins & Company’s community perception, evaluate the accounting and
business services provided, and recommend ways the firm can help
redevelop the Western New York community.
Mr. Rubinstein is a Partner in Damon & Morey’s Business and Corporate
Department and a member of the firm’s Health Care Practice Group. He
represents hospitals, medical and hospital networks and associations,
physician groups, and a variety of voluntary agencies and individual
health care providers on matters involving drafting and contract
negotiation, including managed care contracting, managed care service
delivery, health care regulatory compliance, corporate governance,
Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, mergers and affiliations,
antitrust, commercial leasing and real estate transactions,
guardianships and competency hearings, and related matters.
Mr. Rubinstein is a member of both the New York State Bar Association
and the Bar Association of Erie County. Additionally, he is a Fellow
of American Orthopsychiatric Association. Prior to entering the field
of law, Mr. Rubinstein maintained a private practice in psychotherapy.
He has maintained his credentials as a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
