01/19/05  Mary Comeau Raymond Named Special Counsel

Buffalo, New York: January 19, 2005 - Damon & Morey LLP is pleased to announce that Mary Comeau Raymond has been named Special Counsel.

Practicing in the firm’s Business and Corporate Department, Mrs. Raymond is a member of the Health Care, FDA, and Medical Device and Pharmaceutical Practice Groups. Mrs. Raymond works with for-profit and not-for-profit organizations on corporate and regulatory compliance issues (including HIPAA), billing and reimbursement issues, including Article 78 Medicaid Rate Appeals and Medicaid NAMI audits, as well as Medicare and Medicaid fraud and abuse investigations. Her environmental practice includes matters related to the disposal of medical waste, CERCLA and Navigation Law litigation and environmental statutory and regulatory compliance. She is admitted to practice in all New York State Courts, the District of Columbia, the United States District Court for the Western District of New York and the United States Bankruptcy Court.

Currently, Mrs. Raymond is a member of the Board of Directors, the Vice President, and the President-Elect of the Batavia Rotary Club. She is a member of the Genesee Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee who also chairs the Chamber’s Public Policy Committee. Mrs. Raymond is on the United Memorial Medical Center Foundation Board of Directors. Her professional memberships include the Association of Food and Drug Officials, the Erie County, Genesee County and New York State Bar Associations and the American Health Lawyers Association. She lectures frequently on health care issues.

She received her B.S. degree in Education, cum laude, from the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh, her Masters degree in Education, with honors, from Buffalo State College, and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law.

01/2005  Jennifer M. Catherine Named As Associate

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Damon & Morey LLP is pleased to announce that Jennifer M. Catherine has joined the firm.

Ms. Catherine is an Associate at Damon & Morey LLP, practicing in the firm’s Business Litigation & Insolvency Department.

Admitted in New York State, Ms. Catherine is a member of the Erie County and New York State Bar Associations, the Women’s Bar Association of New York and Women Lawyers of New York.

Ms. Catherine is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Community Music School of Buffalo.

Ms. Catherine received her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Ithaca College in 1995. She received her M.S. from Niagara University in 1997. Ms. Catherine received her J.D. degree from Stanford Law School in 2002. While attending law school, she was an associate for Stanford Technology Law Review.
