Mr. Zini is a Senior Associate practicing
in the Business Litigation and Insolvency
Department of Damon & Morey LLP, where he concentrates on commercial
litigation and intellectual property litigation. He works primarily with
corporations and professional clients in complex litigation involving
commercial transactions, non-competition and confidentiality agreements,
franchise litigation, unfair competition, trademark infringement, fraud,
and other business torts. He also represents general contractors and
subcontractors in a variety of construction litigation matters.
Mr. Zini received his B.A. degree from the State University of New York
at Buffalo in 1993. He then received his J.D. degree, with honors, from
the University of Tulsa College of Law in 1997. While in law school, he
was Notes and Comments Editor for the University of Tulsa Law Journal
(1996-1997) and the Copy Editor for Baculus, The College of
Law Newspaper (1995-1997).
Prior to coming to Damon & Morey, Mr. Zini practiced in
Washington, D.C., where he also focused on business litigation. He
advised a new franchisor on the impact of bankruptcy on franchising in
connection with that franchisor’s $2.26 billion purchase of a large
international quick service restaurant chain, and regularly represented
franchisors in disputes against their franchisees. He also represented
national employee benefit plans in disputes with their contributing
employers.
Mr. Zini is a member of the New York Bar Association.
