 Eric C. Naegely

Serving as Special Counsel at Damon & Morey, Mr. Naegely is a trial
attorney in the Firm’s General Litigation
Department. His practice focuses on defending physicians, nurses,
hospitals and nursing homes in civil matters, as well as in defense
matters involving the New York State Education Department and Department
of Health. Additionally, Mr. Naegely has experience in the areas of
sports law and general liability.
Mr. Naegely received his B.A. degree, cum laude, in Political Science
from the State University of New York at Buffalo where he was selected
as one of the top fifty graduating seniors. He was a member of the
Golden Key National Honor Society, the Mortar Board National Honor
Society, and Phi Sigma Alpha Honor Society. He then went on to earn his
J.D. degree, cum laude, from State University of New York at Buffalo
School of Law, where he was a recipient of the 1998 Robert J. Connolly
Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy.
Prior to joining Damon & Morey, Mr. Naegely was a Program Coordinator
for the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Western New York.
Mr. Naegely is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County and the
New York State Bar Association. His publications include, “Telemedicine:
Will Technology Expand Medical Liability.” In 1999, he co-authored the
New York portion of the American Law Firm Association Transportation
Compendium, and he has been a lecturer for Lorman Education Services.
Mr. Naegely was born and raised in the Buffalo area where he
currently resides with is wife and two daughters.
