Christopher D. Ahlers is an Associate who practices in Damon & Morey’s Business & Corporate Department and Labor & Employment Departments.

Mr. Ahlers provides counsel in several specialized areas of law. As an environmental attorney, he has substantial experience in federal and state environmental laws and regulations, in the course of environmental auditing, due diligence investigations, remediation, and environmental litigation. As a labor attorney, he represents private and public sector employers in labor relations and labor arbitration matters. He also provides counsel and representation in immigration matters, including the filing of non-immigrant and immigrant petitions with the Department of Homeland Security and the representation of clients in Immigration Court.

Mr. Ahlers received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government, Phi Beta Kappa, from Cornell University in 1990. Through Cornell, he completed a General Course of Study in the International Relations Department of the London School of Economics. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Boston College Law School in 1993.

Mr. Ahlers is admitted to practice before all New York State courts and the federal courts for the Western District and Northern District of New York. He is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County and the New York State Bar Association.

Mr. Ahlers is fluent in French and proficient in Spanish and Latin.
